These shows take you on a journey from his period of "Rabbits," through "Blue Fish", to his current path of artistic discovery and his continual observation of life and the human figure. Whether you are familiar with his work or just discovering it for the first time his hopes are you will explore all the art found on these pages traveling along with him on his path to discovery. This print gallery section includes large prints formatted up to 60" perfect for the larger wall space with many sizes in between. Editions are small and have been printed on archival watercolor paper or stretched on wrapped canvas for you to hang as is or frame. They have fully painted wrapped sides, each are remarked, signed, and numbered by the artist himself making each piece unique. Print Information Along with Russell's passion to paint he has always had the drive to create through the print medium. He studied printmaking in art school and apprenticed at several print shops exploring many different techniques including lithography, offset, and screen printing. His thirty years of printmaking continue as he executes the fine art of reproducing his own giclee prints. Owning the finest equipment available Russell calibrates his own colors to expertly match the original. Each is hand worked to make it one of-a-kind pieces of art-- hand coloring or painting, collages, or mixed media. He prefers working in small editions from as few as one piece to a small run of 100. These works are printed with museum quality archival inks on archival papers and wrapped canvas that have been tested for up to 125 years.
